COMPANY BACKGROUND

Founded in 1978, and headquartered in Rochester, New York, Newtex Industries Inc. is one of the leading manufacturers of High Performance Thermal Insulation fabrics. The company’s breakthrough textile technology was one of the first viable and affordable alternatives to asbestos. With it, Newtex revolutionized the manufacturing and capabilities of heat resistant products.

Our trademarked “ZETEX” and “ZETEXPlus” names are well recognized in the United States, throughout the Asia Pacific region, and the Middle East. Since it’s founding, Newtex has grown into a global company with a regional HQ in Singapore and manufacturing facilities in Shanghai, China, in addition to other manufacturing facilities in Murray, Kentucky. Newtex currently exports to 70 countries around the globe.
